Afro on the road - Newcastle to Griffith

Mudgee - Dinner theme was Sports Stars . So in true QLD style, AFRO showed the BLUES how awesome QLD is at footy. For our effort we won best dressed team on the night. The prize? 4 huge Toblerone bars - great how do you keep chocky melting in a car from town to town?

Dazza the Footy star

Each day the cars are issued a collections list - things to collect throughout the day .. 1 item to get was a photo team members with a statue.. So Wellington was the point for this stop ... and get a photo with a Police officer , don't think Wellington police have been so popular.

In Mudgee the whole contingent did a big T sign for the TODAY SHOW - it was shown on Tuesday 16th OCTt.

Hello Lighting McQueen , so cute . A Pontiac even is cruising with us . This car was entered and ready in 3 weeks.

The sticker that Team Afro devised and have sold out of to remember 2012 esCarpade . Camp Quality CEO , Simon even bought one , though he wanted his personally signed by TEAM AFRO , no probs! This was the first of Darren making more donations for CQ from Simon.

FIRST DAY ON THE ROAD - THURS 10th OCT

Here are a selection of the first day of traveling for TEAM AFRO -

Sharkmobile, Afro Rocket & 808 at the first stop + meeting spot - Yatala BP.. Not sure what Graham is up to near Afro Rocket though.

First of the selfies - DAz , Treen & Loz cruisin along - Ross driving at this stage, and doin well.

Booger, AFro, Sharkie & 808 lined up at Macksville Caltex for lunch - great burgers !!!!

How good is this .. 4 CAMP QUALITY esCARpade vehicles cruisin the Pacific Highway following a truck with our logo on the back. Not so sure the truck driver knew exactly why he was the target of crazy cars chasing him down the highway and toots and waves.

Laurie giving Ross he ultimatum - snore tonight and you get it ....

One of the many big rivers we passed over - a thoughtful moment for Ross

We made it - a quick stop to drop off Sharkies , the fun and games have truely began.

DArren & Ross striking a pose with Afro Rocket before heading to dinner somewhere in town. We ended up at the Mayfield Hotel bistro , on recommendation from Sharkie boys $10 for T-bone , chips and salad - thats just what we needed and it tasted great.
